GENERAL INFORMATION
Young Pioneers was founded in 2013 by Shivanie Rampersaud. It is a Non- governmental Organisation that focuses on Youth Development and charitable work. It targets young individuals and exposes youths to leadership skills and training; while getting them involved in the community and charitable projects; Helping them to unlock their full potential and prepare them for the adult world. Young Pioneers believes that there should be a balance of humanity and individuality in one's life.
Young Pioneers stands firmly for ethnic diversity and individuality. This is reflected in the Young Pioneers logo. The circle of hands in various colours represents the coming together of different individuals with different cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds, uniting for a greater good and working towards the Motto "Creating a better tomorrow.“ Our members are segmented into groups in their various districts. There are currently three groups, in East Coast Demerara-Georgetown, West Bank- West Coast Demerara and West Berbice Corentyne. Each group comprises a leader which is referred to as the Head Pioneer.

Future Goals
Young Pioneers hopes to:
