Amerindian Peoples’ Association (APA)

GENERAL INFORMATION

APA was founded in 1991 with the objective of promoting the social, economic, political and cultural development of Amerindian communities in solidarity with each other and to promote and defend their rights.

Speciality of Activities

  • Capacity building workshops on the Amerindian Act and other rights related areas.
  • Educational sessions on Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS), REDD+ initiatives, among others.

ACDA Hopes to continue to spread African Cultural and consciousness to Guyana and beyond; and to support its people with their economic and Social development.
