SOCDA was founded on December 15th 2007 To foster a sense of community identity by providing resources and opportunities to promote self-determination, through education and vocational training, civic engagement and community enrichment and participation in the Sophia Community.

- Sensitization outreaches to bring about behaviour change towards domestic violence ,child abuse and sexual violence towards women and children
Future Goals
SOCDA hopes to expand numeracy and literacy among both youth and adults in the Community.
- To successfully advocate on issues that are relevant to the Sophia community
- To create an equitable, supportive environment to promote social and restorative justice among delinquent juveniles.
- To establish a broad stable resource base
