GENERAL INFORMATION
Recover is a Non-Profit Organization geared towards helping vulnerable communities and families with children, to build by providing a window of opportunities in the most sustainable manner. It will focus to help balance our economic, environmental and social needs, allowing prosperity for current and future generations, especially in remote communities in Guyana.
Goals
• To spread awareness and influence public opinion through informational campaigns and broad outreach;
• To provide financial support to vulnerable families with immediate medical or social need;
• To give scholarships to persons of ages 16-30 in the aim of fostering education in environmental studies;
• To partner with local organizations for “go green”1 projects;
Goals
• To voice civil interests, which are often under-represented in policy-making, and facilitate constructive dialogue between civil society and authorities;
• To contribute technical expertise on environmental challenges and solutions as well as directly participate in operational activities, supporting implementation and management of environmental projects and programs by government;
• To provide alternative solutions to plastic using only reusable materials through the Recover Store.
