The NGO National Coordination Coalition (NCC) is an umbrella organization that supports and helps coordinate the work of nonprofit / civil society organizations in Guyana focused on policy advocacy for marginalised groups, support to victims of GBV and the extension of social services to link underserved and vulnerable groups to opportunities for greater empowerment. NCC also facilitates co-ordination of key linkages between the work of its NGO members and local authorities such as the police and public health and social service providers to ensure that all relevant national stakeholders work together to address issues of vulnerable communities. From its inception in 1999 to its reconstitution in 2015 the NCC has been utilising its large sphere of contact and influence to leveraged partnerships to close gaps in essential prevention and response services nationally.
