In the heart of our community, meaningful connections are being forged between corporate partners and local youth through the transformative power of sport. One such inspiring moment when the RUBIS Guyana team took time to engage with young participants at the community center ground.
Safety First, Always
At one of the scheduled sessions, Mr. Samuel Forte, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer at RUBIS Caribbean, conducted an interactive safety session with the children. These educational moments extend beyond the playing field, reinforcing important life skills that young people can carry into their daily lives.
The session provided not just valuable safety knowledge, but also created an opportunity for meaningful interaction between a corporate mentor and the youth participants. After the session, everyone gathered to capture a beautiful group photo that truly represents the spirit of community partnership.
More Than Just Football
This initiative, facilitated by the Vurlon Mills Football Academy Inc., is designed specifically to support at-risk and marginalized youth. Through regular Saturday and Sunday sessions, the program uses football as a vehicle to deliver essential life skills development.

Looking Forward
As this initiative continues to grow, it is anticipated that even more positive outcomes for participating youth will show. The combination of physical activity, mentorship, and life skills development creates a holistic approach to youth empowerment.
The National Coordinating Coalition Inc. extends heartfelt thanks to all partners involved in making this program possible, particularly RUBIS Caribbean for their ongoing commitment to community development through active participation.
