NGO NCC Conducts GBV Community Sensitization On Amerindian Reserve, Campbelltown Region 8. The Door-to-door sensitization outreach in the Amerindian reserve community. The team interacted with residents and shared information about the services provided by the NGO NCC Inc.
One resident Mr. Roberts shared his desire to see similar outreaches and specifically intervention amongst the youths of the community.
He explained they have been moving away from traditional values and adopting behaviors that can lead to some of the very things we provide services for, domestic violence, substance abuse, xenophobic behaviors…
The team wrapped up the over an hour-long walk-through and headed back to prepare for an outreach at Princeville village later today.
